SOD INSTALLATION : Sod Installation consists of establishing a level/graded area of ground for sod to be laid, the spreading of additional topsoil if needed to fill low areas, clearing of debris from area that sod will be laid, the actual laying of the sod which is done in a staggered pattern (similar to how bricks are laid), application of Grass Starter Fertilizer to aid in new grass establishment, and lastly watering in of the sod. The 2 most common types of sod in Central Texas are St. Augustine & Bermuda grass.
